K-pop stars Huntrix have finally allowed themselves a hiatus.
Technically speaking, Zoey and Mira have. As far as Rumi is concerned, being on break does not mean she must give up all of her old habits. Namely: burying herself in work to delay having a life of her own.
How could anyone blame her? Not only is she mourning the death of her first love, but Celine is nowhere to be found. The distress could be manageable if she at least had Zoey and Mira to talk to — but no matter how much she tries, she can't help but clam up around the girls she holds dearest.
Be that as it may, both of them would sooner die than give up on Rumi again.
It is, however, worth noting that Zoey and Mira have been keeping a secret of their own. What is more, a secret they appear to disagree about sharing with Rumi. And if the past few weeks have taught them anything, it's that hiding things from each other has never ever led to disaster.
While the three of them navigate these confusing emotions, Derpy and Sussie spend a curious amount of time watching over Rumi's blade.

Listen, I love KPop demon hunters. I really, really do. But oh my god I need answers, and if I don't have any I will make them up myself. There is way too much left up to the imagination. How did a demon hunter fall in love with a demon and give birth to a half demon child? What happened to Rumi's mother? Is Rumi's dad still around?
There's only a bit of content for the amount of lore that could go into a world like that and the creators frankly didn't take advantage of it. So. I need. To write. This fic. For my sanity. Y'all understand how it goes.
