Then she spins on her heels to pace to the other side of the room so fast her braid hits her straight in the face. "Okay," she says to no one in particular, spreading her palms to splay her fingers as if she's gesturing towards something. Clearly, it's her last bit of sanity slipping away from her. Her eyes squeeze shut. Julie takes a deep breath and finally tells them the unimaginable. The impossible.
