Stephanie shakes her head, but the pressing question is why Jason killed a man for her. She swallows, biting on her bottom lip before turning to face Jason. “Why did you — you know I could’ve handled it.”
Jason mulls over his answer and he just shrugs. “I care about you, remember?” Stephanie knows he’s referring to his admission last year. “‘Sides, hitting someone from behind is a cowardly move.”
“Yeah, maybe.” She mumbles and she leans her head against Jason’s arm. He tenses at the gesture and then his hand snakes behind her back and rests on her shoulder. “I care about you too, Jase.”

Summary
Damian shifts in response, and his eyes flit anywhere but at Dick. Dick sighs. “I’m not mad,” he simply says and Damian’s eyes are back on him. “I just — I just want to know why you did it.”
If anything, Dick is proud. Damian’s only been his Robin for five months and he’s already taking the risk to take hits for his Batman — they’ve come so far since their first patrol.
Damian hesitates to speak, and Dick sighs again. He opens his mouth to say something else but Damian gets his words out quickly. “Gotham needs Batman,” he declares as if that’s the only explanation. He points at his shoulder. “It would’ve hit your torso, where all the vital organs are.”
OR; The day Damian really becomes Dick’s Robin, he takes a bullet for him

She breaks off, breathing heavy, and Jason thinks he’s misread this situation.
“I’m an alpha,” she spits, chin jutting out in defiance. He has no doubt that under that mask she’s got her teeth bared. She has steel conviction in her voice and weeping red marks on her wrists and Jason was right, he was so right, she’s special.
He peels off his suppressants, letting the sweetness of his scent overpower her sour fear. He doesn’t take off his helmet. “I used to be an alpha. I’m so much more, now.”

“Are you good with all long pointy things, or just arrows?”
Clint nearly chokes but then something catches in the corner of his eye and he fires an arrow to his hard-left. A second later, across the room to their right there’s a yell and another asshole goes down. “Are you flirting with me right now?” Clint asks, nocking and firing his next arrow.
Batman leans back a little and peers over his shoulder around the corner at where the arrow has taken out another gunrunner. He whistles appreciatively before turning his attention back to Clint. “I think I might be. Hypothetically, if I was, would it be working?” His smile is wide and really fucking charming. He’s casually positioned against the tank with his arms crossed when a bullet pings about a half-inch from his head but Batman doesn’t even flinch.
If Clint were the type, he might’ve swooned at that.

White, because it was a classification colour for the more dangerous inmates, those who were in intense lockup. Murders, psychopaths, other grade-A offendable acts against the law.
Jason's crime? Vigilantism, murder - such a loose term, he prefers mercy - being a good soldier to Gotham.
