Tables don't do that.
He doesn't know why his mind arrives at that conclusion. It's ludicrous after all, of course tables do that. It's a natural thing, it just happens sometimes. There are only three things certain in life: death, taxes and the fact that your dining table will occasionally forget that it's corporeal and will conspire with your crockery to inconvenience you. That's just how the world works. That's just how things are.
That's just what tables do.

“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me.”
Turlough’s front door was open, once again. He had no idea what he was about to walk into, the only person he knew was in the house was his ‘roommate.’ the man that came begging to him when he had just gotten divorced. ‘I’ll follow any rules’ he had said to Turlough. But it seemed after three years, his friend had gotten worn of following orders.
Turlough was older now, he felt weary but, in his mind, he could still put up a fight. Nowadays, he was wearing a crisp white, long sleeved collared shirt that he liked to pair with a sweater vest. Today he felt somewhat...inspired to wear a black argyle colour. He wore dark brown pleated trousers cinched with a black belt. To get around easier he wore black leather boots, obviously he wanted to seem sort of...sophisticated.
