The universe has a taste for mischief and misplaced travelers. They do not expect someone who hears the Stargate hum like a memory, or a man whose past feels older than the dunes beneath their boots.
When a robed figure steps through the Gate speaking a language that settles uncomfortably into the mind, the Doctor’s cheerful façade fractures, revealing something ancient, exhausted, and far too familiar with the technology SG-1 thought they understood.
As the team tries to unravel who this stranger is and why the Gate answered him, the Doctor is forced to confront echoes of a life he left behind. A confrontation in the desert becomes the spark that pulls SG-1 into a larger, far older conflict—one that refuses to stay buried.
