Ron knew from very young age how precarious was his position in the family. His parents didn't love him and the twins, the middle brother and even baby sister born a year after him had tormented him. So, when he woke up one morning with drastically worsened hearing, he thought that maybe it was their handiwork. Fortunately, his elder brothers Bill and Charlie came home for their annual holidays. They were the only family members around whom Ron felt safe. Maybe they'd see something was wrong with his ears and they'd help fix the problem?

Something he is pretty sure he regrets, but then again he isn’t certain about many things in his life anymore. Sharing a dorm room with Ron Weasley is on that list. Harry started laughing madly. When he woke up in 1883 as a baby Gellert Grindelwald, he thought his life couldn't get any crazier. Now as he looked at his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, sorry, he meant, Arcturus Black and Honoria Dumbledore, he had to swallow his words.
