Summary
Fable's hugs were nice. Icarus didn't get many of them, even after everything. They soaked up rare times he'd help fix and preen their wings or brush out their hair after too long spent in bed; they soaked this up all the same. He was gentle with it, letting them wrap their arms tight around his torso while one of his own went to their hair and one to between their wings. (Something that always made them melt and puff their feathers up so they could cozy into them.)
Or - "If embedded for a duration, it can pull godly energy from someone." (And how Quixis, and their power, happens to fit that bill - at least, in Fable's eyes.)

So what happens when Rae meets one of these beasts eye to eye. Will he kill the dragon or will he perhaps find a life long friend.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

Fable was using them. Manipulating ⌇⌆⌗⌭⍕⍩ just as they had manipulated the Prince during the "Endstone Reset." When the ones from the brown world had arrived.
That was where it had all started.
