Fan novelization of Tyranny. Spoiler for the entire game. Written by Kittymaverick.
The Oathbreaker rebellion has dragged on for too long. Kyros the Overlord sends an Edict to be proclaimed upon all in the valley. The honour falls to the hands of one Fatebinder Delphina. Meanwhile, two more Fatebinders, Auria and Markus, are instructed by Tunon to enter Vendrien's Well. Upon arriving, the two discover that Delphina has yet to proclaimed the Edict despite her orders. An unexpected member of the court in the valley, Fatebinder Anton, reveals a piece of information that only complicates matters. Loyalties and motives of all those involved are called into question as the countdown to Kyros' Day of Swords begin.

But that still leaves the inevitability of Kyros, and the key to defeating Kyros is understanding her, and playing her game.
The new Archon finds herself with an advantage over the Overlord; the ability to pass an edict that, when used, saps her own life force away. When your enemy is seemingly immortal, every moment counts.
When tyrants are finally laid to waste, when Terratus heroic histories are written and completed, all will ask; who were the Gods? Who were the Devils?
