Summary
Soliana is a Memory Weaver, bound to what yearns to be remembered.
Once free, once loved, she now exists as a soundless songbird in Malcolm’s obsidian cage—enduring devotion, hatred, and possession in equal measure. She survives for one reason alone: hope.
As quicksilver stirs and war tears open the Blood Court, Soliana listens from the shadows. She learns. She waits.
And when the threads holding her finally break, she does not hesitate to reclaim what was stolen—or what was merely caged.

Summary
968.M41. Cadia stands fast against foul xenos incursions, heretical uprisings, and unimaginable horrors spewing from the Eye of Terror. It is a martial life for the Shock Troopers of the 1333rd Cadian Regiment, seconded to their homeworld's Interior Guard for the last six years. For the Veteran Guardsmen of 1st Platoon of the 1st Company, another operation is ending and a week-long furlough awaits and their platoon sergeant, Staff Sergeant Silas Cross, affectionately known as 'Marsh Silas,' to his comrades, counts his blessings that he has survived once again. But instead, they find themselves under the command of a mysterious Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus. Soon, Marsh Silas will find himself embarking on a long journey, one that will take him not only across Cadia's sacred soil but that of the Imperium's realm, fraught with peril, obstacles, self-discovery, thought, doubt, faith, love, loss, despair, comradeship, darkness, and hope.
A Cadian, a Shock Trooper, a Guardsman plain and simple, a soldier through and through, Marsh Silas will find his mind, his fortitude, and his faith challenged as he struggles to leave a little good in the Imperium he serves and to enfranchise the people he loves so dearly.
