Summary
Weary of suffering a life of abuse, Casey Cooke seeks out the only one who has ever understood her: Kevin Crumb’s volatile personality called The Beast. But it’s her dangerous abductor Dennis who awaits her. The pair forms a deadly pact to serve The Beast but soon Dennis's growing skepticism over the Evolved One’s intent begins to sway him from The Horde’s stranglehold.
He must gather the courage to defy The Horde and convince Casey of these truths before The Beast’s plans come to fruition. All the while, another ghastly truth that Dennis must confront will not only deflect their faith from The Beast and the Revolution but will crumble the foundation of his very existence.

Summary
What Dennis did to Marcia was always a monstrous shadow that menaced Casey’s thoughts. Knowing what he did when alone with Marcia the first time was bad enough, but left to wonder what he did to her after locking her away in the closet twisted Casey’s gut.
The question haunts Casey throughout my fan novel Fragment. Although it can be read as a stand alone, this is a vignette companion piece to Fragment that reveals what Casey fears to know. Contains mild Fragment spoilers.

Summary
Clarence Crumb’s presence is a reprieve for Kevin and his protective alter Dennis. Their time together puts them out of reach of the horrific abuse Kevin and Dennis experience at the hands of their cruel mother. Yet it’s still not easy for the boys. Whereas Kevin, afraid to take The Light even when Clarence is around, continues to prefer seeking refuge in the safety of The Dark, Dennis is left to form a bond with Clarence who initiates escape through imagination. Today, he and a very young Dennis play while working in the backyard.
Although this can be read as a stand alone, it is the second vignette companion piece that ties into my fan novel Fragment. Contains mild Fragment spoilers.
