Chayanne froze at the question, he raised his hand to his cheek and noticed the salty liquid that was slowly draining, as if it were in no hurry to fall, as if it wanted to cling to him.
Ghosts don't cry, not because they promised to do so or some exaggeration like that, but because they are incapable of doing so. The guardians do not cry. He is the strongest of the group, the one who has the ability to cross the veil and who has been entrusted with the task of protecting his siblings, crying cannot be a word that occupies his dictionary.
Also... Chayanne doesn't cry.
or Chayanne is the guardian of the N.I.N.H.O cementery, in charge of protecting the souls of his siblings, he cannot afford to think about the past. But not everything is easy for the souls that cannot cross beyond the veil, and even less so if the past knocks on the cemetery door.

The Federation watched as Charlie exiled himself after killing Tiln, and saw him go down a spiral after he found out his own daughter died for the final time. They let this happen, not seeing the need to step in when he wanted this for himself.
But as they watched, they saw how Charlie slowly stopped getting up in the mornings. how he would just lay and sleep for days on end, only to get up to stumble around for food and pretend like nothing had happened.
They knew they had to step in, so as Charlie went to take his self proclaimed ‘nap’ after only a few hours of staring into the ocean they made their move.Aka the story where Charlie gets turned into an egg and doesn't know why.
