Hermione’s breath quickened pace, and upon hearing a scuffle of shoes, her hand shot to her wand instinctively. Suddenly, she was on her feet, just as Draco rounded the corner with an exhaustive load of books piled up to his pointy, pale nose.
His eyes were rife with surprise as they found hers, and she froze dead under them.
“Good Merlin, Granger,” Draco said, exasperated by her wild looks and fighting stance. “I am just looking for a potions textbook. Nothing sinister, I assure you.”
Hermione can't sleep and decides her time can be better used researching her parent's condition. But it turns out she isn't the only one with a sleeping problem or a late-night studying routine.

However, when his wand starts going haywire and a particularly determined Hufflepuff girl sets her sights on taking him down, he realizes with less enthusiasm than he had anticipated that he's been on his own path since the moment he set foot in Hogwarts- and it's heading straight downhill.
