Douglas had taken midnight papers to another kingdom outside of Sodor. On his journey back, he accidentally diverts from the original path and gets lost. He and his guards soon find a royal hiding in a siding, looking as if he was ready for the guillotine.

I had been helping clean the engines on Duck’s branch line. One day, as I was polishing Oliver’s brass, Toad told me a rather amusing story.
