Summary
The Batter, our protagonist, has found himself within the Medium alongside unwitting AU (human) versions of the three zone guardians, as well as our friends Zacharie and Sugar. Assigned the title of Prince of Hope, he will - with the guiding hand of Judgesprite - purify the Land of Smoke and Corruption, a once peaceful land of metal and plastic which has fallen prey to the whisperings of the Furthest Ring. Nothing will stand in the way of his quest for purification. SBURB means nothing to him. All that matters is that his sacred mission is completed, at the behest of the author pulling the strings behind the scenes. Will the Judge and Zacharie finally convince the Batter to break free of the Creator's controls and assume the free will and self awareness itching below the surface, perhaps even aiding their session in the hope of creating a new universe?

Summary
This story pretty much follows the Batter's journey in OFF. It is pretty much the whole game, except in a story-like format. Some things are probably going to be a little bit different from the game, like the Batter talking occasionally where as, in the game he doesn't. Or there may be some parts that are a bit different based on the way I personally interpreted the games events.

Zacharie had always known The Batter was something else. Something different than what his world had previously known. He had once recalled seeing The Batter's eyes, dark, red pupils, more than what should be necessary for a 'human'. He still remembered the day he appeared out of nowhere, almost as if he was a glitch in the programming, though it was all part of the script. Pablo had warned him to stick only to business, that he had a strange feeling from the man.
Of course, Zacharie never listened to what he was told.

They soon give birth to a new subspecies of Humans called 'Spectres', which have unhuman appearances and behaviors, and as such become dehumanized. They only have three choices, and it's either as slaves, guinea pigs, or tools of war.
It just so happens that a Omega Spectre named Zach gets paired with an Alpha named Sebastian, AKA 'The Batter'.The Batter is named Sebastian. 'Batters' are his Spectre type.
Zacharie is just Zacharie, and his Spectre type is 'Toad Royalty', and the Omega males being called 'Toad Princes'. -
