In October of 2022, openly gay baseball star Whizzer Brown is invited to host Saturday Night Live. During that week, he makes a lifelong enemy in Marvin Cohen of Weekend Update fame.
In 2024, Whizzer believes it's safe to host SNL again because Marvin has left the show to pursue bigger and better things. Due to an unfortunate coincidence with the musical guest, he is dead wrong, and after that night, his life is never the same.

Jason didn't speak for a while. He needed to remember Marvin's rules- real men don't admit it when they need help, and they sure as hell don't cry about it. But then, his mind brought him back to that gravesite. At Whizzer's funeral, for the very first time, Jason had seen his father cry. Marvin had completely fallen apart, and admitted to the entire family that he needed help. That he needed support. In his lowest moment, he'd broken the rules. And it didn't get much lower than this... so Jason swallowed his pride.
