Osha pauses and sighs. She doesn’t want to give him the satisfaction of asking, but she can’t help it. “What does that mean?” she asks slowly.
Qimir smiles, then takes another bite. Osha waits for him to chew so he can respond, and it takes a while, which, from what she can tell, is precisely what he intended.
“The skiers who get up the lifts first make the first tracks in the fresh snow.” He rolls his tongue over his cheek as he again assesses her frame. “You seem… athletic. You’ll figure it out. Though I doubt you’ll be able to get to Yord.”
“Why do you say that?” she says through gritted teeth.
“Because I’m going to be in your way.”

Ashe was one of the youngest Jedi to ever reach the rank of Master.
This is mostly thanks to her ‘gift’ as the other Jedi like to call it. She can see the auras of those around her, can see what they feel and what their intentions are among other things.
She was trained to be seen not heard, do as she’s told, and help when needed.
But after what happened to her as a child and during her training her allegiance to the Jedi is shaky on its best day. So when Jedi are being attacked she’s not exactly feeling all that helpful. She will follow her orders that’s it. No more or less.
There is only one person who seemingly understands her.
A man who’s face is shrouded in darkness.
Who she can only see and remember when she sleeps.

Osha struggles to sleep because her upstairs neighbor is very loud. With everything.
Her hand flexes before tightening into a fist. Her heart pounds as she knocks once, twice, and then-
“Oh, hello.” He’s still dripping from a shower and Osha swallows, her throat dry. “Hi.”
The corners of his lips tilt up and he repeats, “Hi.” Her eyes flicker down his naked torso and she curses herself because now she knows what he looks like underneath that sweater. “I, um, wanted to see you.” No! Osha closes her eyes and shakes her head. “I’m sorry, no, I um-“ She opens to see him just staring at her. Like this is a totally normal thing for her to be there in the middle of the night. “You wanted to see me?” His voice is just as deep as it was this morning and she fears that between the towel he wrapped haphazardly across his hips and how she can feel his words on her skin she’s doomed for terrible, disgusting dreams the rest of the week. -
