Finn was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Finn’s passion for music and unconventional style was a flame consistently burnt out by his mother, so independence was a rarity for him, to the point where Finn’s practically given up on escaping the tight leash his mother had him on.
With Finn’s situation being so similar to Johnny’s, he can’t help but empathize with him, to the point where he’s willing to give Finn the whole world as a chance to escape.
Unfortunately, rebellion may not be as easy as it looked.
