When 23-year-old Mihawk, a recent master's graduate, found his boyfriend and childhood best friend in bed with someone who wasn't him, he decided to set out for the bright destiny that was certain to await him with the Shichibukais - a secret spy organization of the world government.
At 41, Mihawk must realize that the future that is now his present isn't exactly bright. The Shichibukai's existence has become public knowledge, the World Government has disowned them, and most members are awaiting trial in jail.
