Marcius Darius Septimius is a Roman soldier who was sent to Brittania under orders of the General and Ex-Consul, Gaius Julius Caesar, but everything goes wrong. Their ships are cornered and most of Marcius' legion is killed or kidnapped. He is the latter. He is taken by the enemy and now wakes up to find himself in chains covered in his own blood. He despises Caesar for ruining his life because it will probably end here in this cold dank room.
