After encountering yet another spatial anomaly and undergoing an event known as a Noodle Incident, the U.S.S. Enterprise-A crash-lands on a previously-undiscovered Class M planet.
After taking stock of their surroundings, the crew hastily work to get their ship up and running again, deciding that even the ability to stay in orbit of the planet would suffice.
After the Nusian Security Council catches wind of a UFO crashing in the plains of occupied Guesa, military forces are rapidly mobilized to secure the area and reverse-engineer any salvageable technology from the crash site.
Nusian drones have also picked up on the fact that there are survivors guarding the wreck, and while it is more than capable of overwhelming force, the Republic does not wish to risk losing its prize by smashing any possible resistance with the hammer that is the Nusian army.
They opt for the more surgical approach instead, deploying Fireteam-6 to get what they want.
