Cole and Geo were staying at the monastery with the ninja, after rescuing kai, and the whole tournament of elements thing. Cole is starting to realize how hard it might be to raise his family and be a ninja at the same time. The amount of danger he puts his kids and his boyfriend, Geo, in just being involved. But, he couldn't abandon his brothers.
Geo knows that the Finders couldn't stay at the monastery forever, he doesn't even know if they want too. It's a big shift going from only having his kids and boyfriend nearby to having the whole world. This would be good for their family, he just doesn't know if he's equipped to rejoin society.
So, I'm kinda procrastinating watching season 3 of Dragons Rising, just cause. So, I decided to write fanfic as i watch to motivate me... to sit down and watch TV.

The Darkness approaches. Garmadon and Lloyd reach an impasse.

Summary
The Great Devourer never bit Garmadon and turned him evil. Instead. . . It got his son.
For fear of the evil that could arise in the boy, Wu trapped Lloyd in the Departed Realm so that he would never escape and banished his own brother to the Underworld after he attempted to save his son.
Years later, with the signs of Lord Garmadon preparing to rise again, Wu forms a team of Ninja who will retrieve the Golden Weapons and prevent evil from reaching the living world again.
But this Ninja team only knows so much, and as the final conflict draws closer they begin to question just how much Wu is keeping from them. . .
After all, he never did say how or why his brother turned evil.

Lloyd snapped backwards as if he’s been burned, face gone slack from surprise. With trembling lips, his eyes darted to his blackened hands, to Sensei Garmadon’s face, then finally landing on a polaroid pinned on the wall behind him, held in place by a red thumbtack.
Harumi and Sensei Garmadon’s smiling faces mocked him, their unbreakable bond immortalized.
