Phil takes a seat on the couch before he grabs one of the wine glasses off the table. He already feels the stress of the day melting away – until he spots the box on the floor that had been hidden from his view beneath the table before. “What’s that?”
There’s a sense of dread flooding through him even before Dan has confirmed his suspicions. “The drawer of shame.”
Phil looks down at the tangle of wires. Dan must have just grabbed them all and stuffed them into this box. It looks absolutely horrible, way too many tangles to count and the thought alone of having to deal with that tonight is giving him a headache. “No.”
