Summary
"Even the mental images of Ao Shun so gorgeously fitted out in the ceremonial vesture, the sheer culmination of power and beauty, the energy he radiated and the deep thunder in his voice as he gave his speech made Li Ming's heart beat faster.
It was not the first time that he witnessed the preparations and ceremonial procedures surrounding the royal mating rituals.
He had overseen their part of the organisation, acted as mediator with the other court's counterpart and made sure that everything would remain in order during Ao Shun’s absence.
What was new, though, was the gathering dread that had started to churn in his guts, continually growing as the date came close." -

Summary
Irene was reminded suddenly of observing him as they’d escaped the prison in Venice, the way he’d seemed diminished, the confidence that so defined him badly shaken. That wasn't quite how he looked now -- it was somehow both better and worse. He was working so hard to keep up appearances that he almost managed to pull it off. But she knew him well enough to see the cracks in the façade, to see how utterly exhausted he was by it, and that was a stunningly intimate thing to realize.

<"Please, will you hold still for just another moment? I'm almost done with this one."
Ao Shun's sigh came with a deep growl at the very back of his throat, but he let his head rest once more on the folded towel in Li Ming's lap. The low buzz of the dremel came to a higher, slightly unnerving pitch as the sanding band moved across the long horn again.
Ao Shun severely disliked horn maintenance, but every once in a while it was unavoidable if he wanted them to stay in good shape.>written per request and for the prompt “bandaging / stitching up an injury”

Summary
"It was not their first kiss, or their first time sharing physical intimacy for that matter. Just recently a look had led to a touch. And further instances had followed almost naturally. But there was something about this specific kiss that never failed to give Li Ming goosebumps, every time he thought back to it."

Summary
after the events of the mortal word, Ao Shun sends Li Ming away to Vale's world and somehow or other he ends up on the doorstep of Lord Silver's townhouse.

Written based on a specific set of headcanons me and my girlfriend have about Ao Shun/Li Ming post the mortal word. Will probably try and update with the resolution to their misunderstanding. -

Summary
The Dragon King of the Northern Ocean, his Supreme Majesty Ao Shun sat, curled like a cat, on a leather armchair next to a fireplace that was bathing the area around it in a warm glow. He was engrossed in his book and Li Ming found himself staring at him fondly.

Summary
“It will just be us tonight.” Their eyes met and the significance of the gaze settled realisation into his gut like a block of ice. The events of the evening laid before him, and he knew he would not see the sunrise.
He was glad, he told himself. Glad he could be of this final service to his King, this was an honour.

A collection of one-shots that are either missing moments, alternative outcomes, just straight up alternate universes or me just writing whatever the hell I want to.
Some of these have been posted on my tumblr, but most of them are just clogging up my phone hardrive
Yes, I fully intend on writing as many fics for this fandom as I possibly can. -
