Bilbo raised his eyebrows. “And you’ve come to the Shire to look for this someone? My, Gandalf, I wonder if you know Hobbits at all. They would tell you that adventures are nasty, disturbing, uncomfortable things. That they would make you late for dinner.” Bilbo recalled his own words perfectly. It had been something he and Gandalf had looked back on with bittersweet laughter.
This Gandalf however noticed his exact words. “Would they now? And what about you, mhm? What would you tell me about adventures?”

The Valar send Bilbo back in time, to the day where Gandalf asks him to join in an adventure. After living a lifetime of regret and suffering, he vows to change things for the better. For Thorin. For Frodo. But will he succeed?

He should have died earlier, Bilbo Baggins thought from his seat on the deck of an Elven ship making its way to the undying lands.
Demons run when a good man goes to war. The night will fall and drown the sun when a good man goes to war. Friendship dies and true love lies.
Bilbo didn’t very much like that poem.
Bilbo Baggins dies and goes peacefully into Yavanna's gardens. Bilbo Baggins dies protecting his king from a mortal blow and goes peacefully into Yavanna's gardens.
Finally one day, Yavanna had enough.
Bilbo Baggins would bring the change. And Yavvanna would do everything in her power to make it happen. Her children would thrive once more.
And for just a moment, Thorin felt the body under him breathe.
“Bilbo! Hold on.”

Aurora left Shire all those years ago, after the incident with her family and the unfortunate passing of her late husband.
She would have not dreamed to return to the green hills so soon, but a letter from her dear sister, Belladonna, changed her mind. The letter had found her too late, so she was only able to express her condolence to Bilbo, her nephew.She didn't stay too long in her hometown though. Not due to the shunning and mean comments of her fellow hobbits, but because of a certain dwarf stealing away her heart. Well, and she surely couldn't let her cute nephew head blindly into the dangers of the outside world all on his own, on the recommendation of her old meddling friend.

Belladonna Baggins the Second is an Odd Hobbit, the Mad Baggins. She has always acted every inch of the Took her mother was, until her parents died that is. Left with her younger brother to care for, she has tried to make herself become every inch the Baggins she needs to be. She doesn't realize how badly that was going until a wizard shows up on her stoop. With nowhere else to go, Bella packs up both herself and Bilbo and joins the Company of one Thorin Oakenshield. The only problem is they think she's a male, and she's not sure how to tell them she isn't without meeting the business end of someone's axe. The lesson to be learned of all of this? Don't listen to Meddlesome Wizards.

What if orcs had taken over Erebor before the company had ever set out? What if Frerin hadn't died at the Battle of Azanulbizar, but was taken as a slave by those orcs?
In a world divergent from what Bilba feels it should be, Hobbits have magic. Magic strong enough for orcs to have taken her captive as a child back to Erebor in order to serve them as a slave. There, she is subject to a miserable life under the authority of the orcs, living silently and never drawing attention to herself. But when roars begin to echo throughout the mountain and rumors are heard of a plan to march on the elven fortress of Mirkwood and the rest of Arda, silence is no longer an option.
And with the rest of Middle Earth completely oblivious to the army of orcs occupying Erebor, the ripples of the darkness are poised to spread farther than ever before. -

As a fauntling, not even double digits, Bilbo Baggins falls from a tree and splits his skull neatly in two. He had been exploring alone, and so is left unbothered as he lays dead in the grass. He is still unbothered half an hour later when he sits up, stares curiously at the bloodstained earth, and scampers back home. He stands in the kitchen, happily munching a cranberry-orange scone and oblivious to Belladonna’s tears as she runs her fingers frantically through his blood matted hair.

Bilbo can't die, and the company finds out much sooner than he had planned (implying he had been meaning to tell them at all, but, well, Bilbo would be a fool to believe anything would go as planned on this confounded journey).

He's of no use in a proper fight and quick wit and unnatural plant life will change very little about that.
Bilbo has no idea what he's doing here and he dearly hopes that the Shire doesn't either.
Some laws are very old and are not wisely broken - a shame, considering he's broken damn near every one of them.
And if Thorin keeps up his terrible attitude he might just break another.
(Whether that would be to throttle him or to kiss him, well, that remains to be seen.) -

En retrospectiva, Bilbo no tiene idea de lo que está haciendo.
No es bueno para el combate, ni para una lucha adecuada por lo que al respecto pareciera poco lo que su vertiginoso ingenio y sus extraños dones con la naturaleza pueden hacer. Ciertamente no son promesas de supervivencia.
Bilbo no tiene idea de lo que está haciendo y espera que en La Comarca tampoco la tengan.
Leyes primitivas, ya muy viejas como para ser rotas, le condenarían por su falta de sapiencia, una lástima, considerando que él las ha quebrantado casi todas.
Y si Thorin decide mantener esa terrible actitud, seguramente quebrará más.
(Si eso significa estrangularlo o besarlo, bueno, eso estará por verse).

Hobbits are not what the others races believe. Crafted by the Valar and blessed with inherited magics called knacks, Hobbits have been ensuring the peace between the Free Peoples for a long time. No one else knows and Hobbits are content to keep it that way. However, years ago Shire life was disrupted by the marriage of Gerontius Took to Adamanta Chubb, originally known as the dragon Arradeth. Years later Bilbo Baggins is paying the price of being an odd hobbit, having inherited both Took and Baggins knacks along with his grandmother’s blood, and is the only one of her line to also have a dragon form. Now Gandalf the Grey is once again in need of a hobbit for an adventure and Bilbo must decide. Should he accompany the wizard and his group, face a dragon, and risk revealing Shire and family secrets? Or does he abandon his people’s sacred purpose and allow a stubborn king to send part of Middle Earth into war? Not to mention that if Bilbo does go he risks not only his life, but losing his dragon Heart to a band of suicidal dwarves. In a reality where Smaug attacks Erebor much later and is slain by Thorin in the process, the King Under the Mountain must contend with a whole new problem: greenery refuses to grow in the Desolation around the mountain, yet thousands of dwarves and humans must still be fed. In desperation, Thorin leads an envoy to the Shire to inquire about hiring a Green Magic hobbit. When none agree to make the journey, though, he’s left with no choice but to kidnap one.
Cue Bilbo Baggins.
