First off, I know the title is punny. I have already performed the necessary head shakes of disapproval in the mirror as a punishment. But moving forward...
I have played through Fable 3 a few times over the years and each time I am disappointed that I can't romance Ben Finn. I mean... BEN FINN, right? So I finally decided, to heck with it. I am going to make it happen! Kind of. I don't have it on PC, so I have to use my imagination cuz lack of mods on Xbox, ya get me. Anywho, I ramble. Please note that this fanfic will follow the game but not exactly. Obviously, but I mean, right off the bat, some lines differ. It's because writing a game from the perspective of a mostly silent generic game character can be.... an... interesting challenge that I'm not vibin with at the moment. Enough about the what/why/etc. Onward! Be prepared for the slow burn!

His night terror's are getting stronger, and as the time for his sacrifice rolls around again, he must return to Bloodstone to retrieve some poor sod to present to the Shadow Court so that he can be done with this whole business. But when he returns, he receives a surprise visit from an old battle buddy and is informed of Sparrow's current condition and position as Queen of Albion, and said Queen as requested an audience with HIM.

after a weeks’ rumination, i decided to dive into what i hope will be a serial Fable fic. it takes place just after the Hero and Walter emerge from Shadelight Dungeon in Aurora, and Ben and Kalin find them in the desert.
it’s the Hero’s story…but it’s Ben’s perspective.
for the purposes of the story (for ease and readability) i’ve given the Hero a name. in my headcanon, the Hero Queen from Fable 2 (Sparrow) names her daughter after her beloved sister Rose…who is shot and killed by Lucien at the start of the heroine’s journey.
(i’m not wild about the title. i got stuck, so i used the name of one of Aurora’s regions)
