Summary
The first moment after the battle ended, Makkari couldn’t be seen more than an inch from Druig’s side.
She, the fastest creature in the universe, even accepted the sluggish plane ride home so she could sit beside him, head resting on his shoulder and fingers intertwined. When the group finally settled at Ajak’s ranch house, she slept no further than one inch from his side. Makkari fell asleep curled in his arms, listening to the soft rise and fall of Druig’s steady breathing. Despite her best efforts to calm her hummingbird heart, nightmares found her anyways.

Gods in human flesh. His features were balanced and symmetrical, hooded eyes concealing the mess of silvery blue. Akiva looked at his ashy brown hair as it was slightly disheveled, but the intention of it being cut in a neat line was easy to infer.
His nose was round at the tip, bridge sloped with a perfect parallel into it. She could almost imagine the so called Celestials running their thumbs down between his eyes to carve him from a slate of marble.
He kissed a drop of honey from his thumb, and she held her breath when his cheeks pulled at his lips to complement a lopsided smile. "Little lamb surrounded by all of these wolves."

there were millennia that they had been the only sense of normalcy for each other, and then, one night, ikarus flew into the clouds, and never came back down to her. then thanos snapped, and any normalcy was gone, as well as dane. he needed to come back.
TLDR: writing various areas of ikarus' and sersi's past, both during endgame and before, and then writing the entirety of the eternals movie, except i'm not killing ikarus off, because that really made me sad, and i bet i'm not the only one. possibly going into after that, as well. enjoy <3 requests are welcome, as well.

He ignored her. “Steal something for me,” he said, eyes sparkling. “Nothing big!” he added quickly, interrupting her raised hand. “Just promise me you’ll get it before the ceremony is over.”On the day of Ikaris and Sersi's wedding, Druig gives Makkari something she needs in exchange for her stealing something he wants.
