Graves was kidnapped by Grindelwald and rescued by the investigators of MACUSA. When Mr. Graves opens his eyes, he is surprised to find an Obscurus lingering next to his bed. Soon, they will get to know each other. Both have secrets that they will share. And Mr. Graves will find the reason he was kidnapped and tortured.

    This story is a sequel to the first movie of the series. Mr. Graves' character is my mere imagination. (Rewritten and completed on 2017/03/11)

Wandering Europe in the days leading up to the Great War led to some very interesting experiences for Newt, including becoming friends with Percival Graves.

    Years later, Newt must travel through New York to release the Thunderbird in his care. This is the perfect chance to make Percival take a vacation, if only he could be sure this man was actually Percival Graves. Surely Percy would forgive him a minor incident of magical exposure or property damage here or there if it led to the capture of Grindelwald, right?

    Newt Scamander was walking in the middle of New York City, clutching in one hand his trusted case and in the other a small piece of paper with directions. The street was crowded, people were in a hurry, almost running to their destination. There was a firetruck with it’s bells ringing.

    Newt had never seen buildings as tall as the ones in New York. He observed the foreign environment with a scientist's curiosity. He had always loved looking at people, especially the dance they did around each other called socialising.

    Despite mastering the mimicry of many creatures’ social habits, he had never been able to fully articulate the social habits of his own species. He was able to manage it if push came to shove yet he didn’t feel confident in his abilities.

    "I should hope so," Newt chuckled. "This estate belongs to my family, has for centuries. I do not live in their house anymore but my mother was unhappy about me disappearing into the world once I got expelled from school," his smile was back and Credence shifted a little closer. "Go on, you," he urged the smoke cloud towards Modesty. "I think your sister wants some company out there."
