Summary
Credence became smoke in the fire of the witches, something without form and body, just soul and magic and longing. He looked at the red haired man and he saw time in all it's twists and he did not want to end here. There had to be an other beginning. So he went back. He could not flee in any physical direction, so he chose to flee through time itself, backwards on winded paths, clawing to the existence of this man in front of him, this man who seemed kind, like Mr Graves had once been.
He was just magic and mind and he was gone, he was FREE, he just...needed a body now, needed flesh to hide in, to rest. He found it. He found a mild summer evening, wet and far away. He found a desperate young boy, small and freckled and full of scratches, pleading with a lifeless, small body, covered in black fur.
Credence travels back in time, becomes the niffler and visits Hogwarts in that form. When he's back in New York, he's a different man but he still finds himself unable to stay away from Mr Graves.

High in Gryffindor tower, there sits a small case.
It rests – unassuming and appearing utterly unremarkable (although it is anything but) - at the end of the bed of a rather small first year.
It is much smaller than the trunks used by the other students, yet young Hari Potter has no lack of supplies.
If one were to investigate the case when Hari is in the presence of others, they would see a rather modest collection of robes and a small side compartment for school supplies and other small and sundry items. If one were to catch Hari opening the case while he was alone however, they would see something entirely different.

The case contains many secrets. The most important secret the case contains is that it is home to Hari’s nine-year-old sister Kamala.

When Newt Scamander arrived in Toronto on a balmy August day in 1925, he was excited to begin the "Americas" leg of his research. He was curious as to why Dumbledore had been so insistent that he visit this particular city. He expected to discover something unusual - a magical beast perhaps, or another curiosity. He did *not* expect to lose his creatures in a strange city, or to find himself wanted by the Canadian Magical Parliament, or to be embroiled in a murder investigation with the Toronto Constabulary - Though as Detective Watts so helpfully pointed out: "I believe it was Alexander Pope who wrote: 'Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.'"
And though Newt felt many things during his Toronto adventure, he certainly was never disappointed.

“Romance,” the Sun Prince confirms against the shell of his fiancé’s ear. A shiver runs down Credence’s spine as his breathing picks up. He’s really doing this, isn’t he?
