Summary
After the events of Sonic Forces, the Resistance members find Infinite and bring him in to decide how they should deal with him. Sonic automatically shoots down the idea of imprisonment, so a different idea is put forward: rehabilitation and integration back into society. Against their better judgement and to the chagrin of Barry, their existing roommate, Gadget takes on the job. Wacky hijinks ensue as Gadget tries to navigate the struggles of rehabilitating a former war criminal, such getting crushed by mountains of paperwork and getting into fights with said former war criminal.
And on top of it all, they’re slowly catching feelings for this disaster of a man.

It had been months since the war ended, and no one is okay. Sonic is hunted by the six months he spend at Eggmans mercy, Gadget is struggling to adjust to life as a celebrity while keeping his new relations hidden. So of cause Knuckles wants to make sure everyone's alright, and of cause Amy gets a friends of hers to act as a therapist for the forces.
And of cause Sonic and Gadget are convinced to go by their friends...Name is a work in progress.
