Written for the Tav'ern Discord Valentine Event, and I chose to write for Raphael, Haarlep and Tav because honestly they're some of my absolute favourites and this piece was delicious in more ways than one~

Summary
A prequel to the events of Baldur's Gate 3, exploring the relationship between Raphael and Haarlep from the moment they first meet and following through several key events in their long and storied history together as both seek their own goals and find how they connect between them.
There will be a lot of smut in the works, as well as a fair amount of angst and character exploration. It will be written as a series like this with separate works rather than a multi-chapter work, to enable clearer tagging of each individual chapter as the content will vary and I would rather allow people a choice to skip parts of the story if there are tags they dislike, or to easily bookmark and return to tags that they adore~
There is no set schedule due to life factors and multiple ongoing series that I switch between, but comments and interactions do help to inspire work on it.

The incubus watched the prismatic spores swirl in their vials. “I’ve heard of this stuff but never had the chance to try it. The deviants in Goranthis swear by it, though. They’re the strongest sex spores in, well, anywhere, right? May I?” They reached toward the vials.
She snapped the box closed right before their fingers touched it. “Money first. But I guarantee my Special Blend is unlike anything else you’ve tried.”
Haarlep sulked for a moment, and Derryth found it surprisingly endearing. So the incubus spittle wasn’t nothing, then. In fact, looking at Haarlep did something to her nethers that she hadn’t felt in many years. The desire to consume and be consumed, small but insistent, was slowly taking hold.

Haarlep did so enjoy seeing him like this - conflict within a mind that claimed ultimate wisdom, uncertainty upon a usually resolute brow, and the ever present battle between pride and submission in his eyes. Oh, how they could keep him pressed beneath their heel for hours, feeling the ever hardening shape beneath his finery.Hmm. There was a thought.
With a snap of crimson fingers, Raphael’s clothes were gone - neatly stacked on a chair at the side of the room - leaving him writhing naked upon the cool marble floor. His hands moved to cover his exposed body by instinct, earning a disapproving noise from the incubus above.

“What took you so long?” Tav spoke, in Haarlep’s voice, in their feminine body. Her wings were spread out behind her, tail flicking slightly with mock agitation, as she swirled wine lazily in a glass barely bothering to look over at the new arrival. Just like Haarlep told her.
“I can take as long as I wish, Harlot. And why, may I ask, have you chosen that body tonight?” He walked over casually, sitting on the other end of the bed.
Tav’s heart quickened a little, it was…different, to see him like this. “Technically, it is my body, so I may decorate it as I wish. Or were you hoping I might have a different look for you to try out? Something decidedly more…rodent, perhaps?” She was suddenly glad that her skin was already bright red, the implication they made whilst speaking for her, from her… It was almost as exciting as the reaction she saw from Raphael.

They drew him in, as they always did. It was never enough to merely sweep him up in their arms, to take him for themselves even when they had the advantage in stature.

He found his slender arms curling up and over Haarlep’s shoulders, raising up slightly on the balls of his feet to chase their kiss, drinking down the heat from their tongue. The difference between them…
