In tutta la sua vita non si poteva dire che Kohga non avesse mai lottato, non avesse mai conosciuto la disperazione ed il dolore. Sì, certamente, era a capo di un intero clan che lo adorava e venerava, aveva perfino un altare con il suo nome scritto sopra.
Ma, nostante tutto, negli anni anche lui aveva collezionato la sua buona dose di lotte e conquiste amare. La sua vita era costellata ovunque dalle cicatrici invisibili di tutte quelle battaglie che lo avevano portato dove era adesso, in uno scontro affannato tra felicità e disperazione, tra follia e vittoria. Ma Kohga era sicuro di non avere mai sentito il peso viscoso della disperazione tra le mani come in quel momento, mentre guardava i corpi inermi dei membri del suo clan spirare, ed il tonfo secco di una maschera spezzata che cadeva risuonava come la prima goccia di pioggia di un temporale.In cui Kohga non pensava di avere tra le mani un profeta folle. Arrogante magari, ma non folle. Doveva avere un briciolo di umanità.
In realtà, la aveva. Ma non cambiava il fatto che fosse un folle.
