Micah didn’t expect his parents to show up the day he graduated from uni and got his degree. But what he expected even less, was to find out they weren’t his biologically parents at all.
Now, after 24 years of being lied to, and miraculously finding a brother on an ancestry website, Micah ends up visiting said brother, meeting his new-yet-old family, and new friends as well. Well, at least, that's what he assumes that Vessel must think of him: 'dead'. He hasn't responded to his childhood friend in almost ten years, even forced his mother to never speak of him to Vessel, because they both knew that the man would come running when II suddenly disappeared.
(As far as II was concerned, he really did die that day—whoever he was before dropped dead as soon as the car crashed into his right side with a brutal kiss of metal teeth and the sweet tease of death.
He might as well be deceased.)
