Notes: An incredibly immersive story built inside the constraints of fourteen hours and an enchanting, albeit fictional, Columbus. Every ensemble character is pitch perfect (especially Puck—though his presence is sparse, I’ve never heard his voice come across so effortlessly) and there’s so much that’s said between the lines here that you get a full picture of Kurt and Blaine, not just as they exist in this story, but as they lived their lives leading up to the point of their meeting, how it hurt them and shaped them in ways both big and small. There is a light exploration of power dynamics, but it’s done with such care, subtlety, and vulnerability that you might forget it’s happening at all. They’re so honest with each other in this farce of their own creation (in a way that they've never let themselves be before) that the whole story feels like standing on a precipice of something monumental, but precious.
