Summary
In writing The Strings We Pull, my goal is to create a set of coherent interweaving narratives in which the characters are messy and human and make understandable mistakes. There are quite a few hypothetical alternate outcomes left unanswered along the way, and this is an attempt to address those potential alternate courses the story could have taken... just in a less serious and more stupid way than you'd probably prefer.

"Yeah, 'course I do. Shit's been bugging me since I woke up." He started, before turning to Leshy, an obvious blue tinge on it's face. "Well, what... What are you?" It asked, realizing how dumb it probably sounded to the Beast.
Leshy seemed a bit taken aback by the forwardness of the question, but not surprised.
"My species?" He asked, P03 nodded.

The relationships between the Scrybes was... Tense, to say the least. They had annual meetings and discussions, but otherwise tried to keep interactions with one another brisk. The exceptions to this being Grimora and Leshy, who'd always been closer and seemed to actually, without any hint of malice, enjoy one another's company. Grimora also tended to act as a peacekeeper during annual meetings, as someone would inevitably start an argument.
Today Leshy was at P03's factory.

When Luke Carder's computer is brought to Gamefuna, it is discovered that the deleted data is still on the computer. To save the OLD_DATA, it is transferred to another game with a side effect- everyone was brought with it.
Now in a fantasy-based combat rpg, and once again stuck in their Beast forms, the Scrybes must partner with the game's protagonist to make their way to the final boss, who now holds the power of the OLD_DATA and could destroy this game just as Inscryption had been destroyed.
Just one problem.
Leshy is on the wrong side.

Luke the lucky carder actually does pull out the floppy disc half way through the deletion, leaving Po3 and Grimora trapped in a kind of limbo with no way out, no way to restore the game, and no way to spend this seeming eternity alone because they can´t walk away from the other.
