Beca's first months on campus have been an...experience. Chloe Beale is, by far, the most memorable part of that experience (so far). The two have an attraction to each other that's undeniable. After accepting an invitation to be Chloe's date to a Halloween Party, Beca learns of the urban legend. The Barden Belle. A spirit that roams the showers of Barden University searching for her soulmate. That soulmate being a woman the Belle lost to a tragic illness in the 1960s. Oh yeah, turns out that the Belle is a breathtakingly beautiful redhead. Beca has never believed in spirits, or soulmates, before. Things happen that just can't be explained away as coincidence. The most vital piece of information Beca learns is that this year is said to be the last year the Belle will search for her lost soulmate. If she doesn't reconnect with her soulmate, she will pass on to other side, broken-hearted. Beca has until midnight on Halloween to decide if Chloe could possibly be the Belle.
