Taking place in the early 1980s, an infection broke out. Distress rang across the country- but it seems as if it was too late. This new, unforeseen and unknown virus quickly infected the minds of many, sending the survivors- all who managed to live through the first wave unscathed- scrambling to form and establish survivor groups of their own.
In the eyes of the protagonists, it was only the beginning of their very long lives. Having to bear the guilt and memories of all their fallen friends and comrades, this is a retelling of their tale from the very beginning up till the present day.

The infection has officially been over for about a Year and Easter rolls around. Everybody seems excited to celebrate their first Easter since the infection has passed, scattering Easter eggs all over their backyards, putting up crosses on their doors in their front yard, all the stuff. But Georgie…Georgie feels…well, empty. His grandparents were obviously not going to make it out alive from the infection—and his sister and parents were killed by the SWAT team once the world got its shit together. While yes, he does have his “Family” with the safe place members, it doesn’t feel the same. But with Pony by his side, he manages to feel a few twinges of happiness during Easter.

“Hm? Yeah B?” Doggy responded, moving his lightened paw away from the human, before turning to them.
“Those…”
He watched as his working partner stuttered, before seeing their mouth open to continue.
“Er,” They cleared their throat, “Those creatures out there, I.. I think they were our friends.”
