The peaceful revolution pioneered by Markus and the rest of Jericho had been a success. The military had withdrawn from the depths of Detroit and the various camps littered across the city had been liberated, their people set free. Downtown Detroit had been left barren, abandoned, ruined. Many structures had been damaged at the will of the police, glass shards lined the sidewalks; thirium spatter coated side streets in a dark shade of blue. The chaos only simmered when President Warren made public orders.

In the months since the Revolution, Markus hadn't known anything had even been wrong.
But as it becomes increasingly apparent that all is not well with himself, Markus finds it somehow even more difficult to navigate the political realities of a post-revolutionary world than it had been to lead the revolution in the first place.
Markus knows he can help deviantkind begin to heal from their collective trauma by leading the charge in confronting his own demons. But his very position as leader precludes him from doing so.
How can he maintain positive public relations with multiple groups of people each of whom have their own conflicting interests, desires, and opinions on what it means to be a leader?
