Streetlamp moons and there are rose petals on the bed. Tequila wine and his sweetheart is there as well; on a nine day cruise Barty had no idea he entered to win, blackout wasted on the strip of Vegas, on a random Tuesday at the end of July.
He's been benched, friend-zoned to the third and worst degree. Evan looks so beautiful when he forces Barty to sleep on the pull-out couch, but if they could just hold hands, maybe kiss, the days by the pool would be a lot nicer. They could both fit in the bathroom, then. Barty would feel a lot less bad about staring at Evan's ass in those swim trunks, and he could finally tell all the cute old ladies he sees every morning for breakfast that he did, indeed, win a free cruise and the big prize.
