Frank Iero... the little nineteen year old punk winds up serving time out at sea after stealing from a liquor store, he doesn't mean to do most of the things he does but his lousy friends convince him to steal some booze from a random liquor store which winds him up stuck out at sea for a month. He knows he should be more grateful for not being sent to jail because of his past brushes with the law, who knows, maybe this forceful trip to the middle of absolute-fucking-nowhere will do him some good, after all, nothing bad will happen, right? there's another boy in the same position but for very different reasons, you see this twenty three year old's name is Gerard Way, he's been sent out to sea for the same amount of time, but not for a crime, he was sent out after a failed suicide attempt, the physiatrists and doctors concluded a more physical form of therapy would better suit his position. the two end up bunking together in the same room and friendship immediately takes place between the two, will this friendship blossom into something more before the inevitable will come and separate the two? idk I guess you'll have to read to find out...

He can hear Gojo chatting with the driver (captain?) behind the metal barrier, but he can’t make out what they’re saying, possibly because of the sound of his own increasingly heavy breathing. Seems like Gojo’s being himself though, casually bothering the closest person out of boredom.
Yuta sees Maki look out at the ocean in his peripheral vision. He would do the same. The passing city skyline is pretty since the sky is so clear today, but the thought of lifting his head makes his heart skip a beat like he’s dangling over a ledge.
He tries to stay as still as possible. A thin sheen of sweat is breaking out over his body. He’s overly warm, but shivering as the high speed of the ferry cuts through cool wind around them. He gulps thickly. There’s more saliva under his tongue than it should be.
“Mustard leaf?” Toge asks, suddenly leaning forward to check on Yuta in his hunched posture.

Surprisingly, Zayn’s the one who replies. “Well, we can do whatever we want, right?” he asks tentatively. “There’s nobody else calling the shots this time.”
They’re sitting around one of the bigger tables, and a stunned silence falls over the room as they think about Zayn’s words. It’s just them. No execs, no Simon, no management telling them what to do. They’ve all experienced more freedom - to varying degrees - in their solo careers, but the idea of having control over what they do in the band is new. One Direction has never been theirs.
And now it is.
Thought it was about time I had a go at a reunion fic. UPDATE - this sat unfinished for a loooooong time, but I added a chapter today and am working on the rest!

Now that the news of the beasts being defeated, and their souls and most of their powers were sent back to the tree, the guild (...plus Dark choco cookie... Purple yam was not pleased to hear he was getting dragged along...) thought this would be one of the best times to go on an adventure to beast yeast.
