After a long period of being unable to visit Ninjago, you randomly return. The ninja aren't sure what to feel, and they're a bit busy with other issues.
This is mostly AU's and just where I can obsess over the sillies without being restrained by canon, so I'll do what I want and say what I want with this, and you're not gonna be bothered by it. (This doesn't really mention any of the "big events" or life-changing things for the ninja, so it's honestly just them as people and the little city they live in rather than a self-insert of the show/movies!)

Tommy has done some, lets say, questionable things in his life. Starting from going to war at a 'young age'. Like that was a valued reason for the big man. But when he went to Dream, who is a total bitch by the way, in prison. Sure, bad idea, but who cares? Anyway, he (Tommy) nearly got his ass handed to the grim reaper by no other than homeless, or is he homeless now that he's in prison, green blob. He did not expected to wake up in a whole new ass place with hella weird people in colored Pjs that call themselves ninja in a giant ass cave.
