Jean knew very little about Jeremy’s family, just that he did not like living with them, and that he had two brothers and a sister, and that his oldest brother was dick. Other than that Cat had declined him any knowledge, but he could guess from the looks between her and her girlfriend that there was something there. An underlying tension between Jeremy and his family that was hurting him. Jean could to some extent understand this. But not in its entirety.

So Jean is out. He escaped the Ravens and it's finally time to get on the road to recovery; the road to happiness. The reality is so close yet, to Jean, it couldn't be further from his grasp. He isn't out of the woods yet.
Following an unscripted interference from his ex-teammate Kevin Day, Jean Monreau has been thrust into the bright, burning teritories of the USC Trojans.
He's stubborn. He's hurt. He's full of rage. But his recent flee has rendered him numb. After spending so many years with the Ravens in the nest, in the dark, Jean still can't find the light. Maybe he needs a helping hand.
The intervention of strangers has surprised him in the past; it has lead to his freedom. Maybe it's time to let in a few more.
But then again, a raven flying too close to the sun is surely destined to burn...
