Ace believes his boyfriend, deuce, is a demon. He refuses to believe when fell in love with a normal man, no matter all the signs, oh how would his mama feel? He's killed many male seducer demons before, why can't he kill this one? Deuce spade, this one demon, the most powerful he's found, has taken his heart. Deep down, he knows the man's human, he doesn't actually Believe that 'god' is real, more that he's a concept that people needed to personify long ago. But with all he's been told, all the times he's been yelled at (and sometimes hit) just from staring his beliefs when asked he refuses to acknowledge what he really feels. So, after admitting his sins, and going into trials, he's executed for murder and diagnosed insane. He writes his final note, he doesn't know who it's for, maybe his Deuce? Maybe his mom, or his dad? The pastors, the principal of his college, his brother? Maybe its jsut for himself, for closure, to admit his sins in life before he dies. He'll make sure his note is left in good hands, and that he can go with Deuce, and he'll be waiting when deuce dies, and will embrace him tightly.
TLDR Ace has religious trauma and has a hard time with lgbtq he's gay tho also it's an execution note
