And if Omi is not a controller, Jake has to keep him from being turned into one...
Being a teenage assassin on a student exchange to the USA is not what Omi asked for. Especially not, when he gets a mission to eliminate an unexpected threat from his past – everything, while trying to keep the innocent Jake out of trouble. Oh, and that he has to see his personal nemesis every single day at school doesn't help either...

Marco is Visser Two, and of course this means that he lies. All the vissers have secrets, but none so much as Marco; he lies to all of them, every single conversation, and even still they don't suspect a thing. Even Visser One trusts him, to some extent, and no one gets past Visser One.
The truth is that Marco does not want the invasion to be successful. He doesn't want an invasion at all, really. And he lies every day, saying that he does. He lies every day, pretending to be a visser and filling up the role. But the truth is much more than all that. The truth is that Marco, despite what he has the entire Yeerk empire thinking, is not really a visser.
Or a Controller, for that matter.

Summary
A retelling of the Animorphs saga, reworked into YA long-form novels much longer than the original series novellas. Increases humor and uses characters with stronger personalities and characterization, allowing for more growth throughout the series. Set in a vague post 2015ish world, but with many country-specific references removed for the privacy of Jake and the Animorphs. Better exploration of the mature themes since now it is aimed more for a teenage audience (and older). A proof of concept.
Rotating POV, allowing the characters to juxtapose off each other for a better overall story. Each character has a unique voice, and writes slightly differently to further emphasize the individuality of our gang.
100% HUMAN WRITTEN. NO AI WAS USED IN THE WRITING OF THIS WORK.
