He grabs onto the small coin that was placed in his hand and feels something pulse through it. It’s weird, like getting goosebumps on your skin but instead of feeling it outside of your body it flows within, throughout your entire nervous system. Shocking you to your very core. Or maybe something closer to a static shock, when you drag your feet on the carpet and then touch a door handle. That might be closer, but it doesn’t describe the shiver that sends down his spine. Prickling at the bone as if trying to force itself into its marrow.
