My accidental hook up with reaver was possibly the worst mistake I ever made. I regret getting drunk and wasted, if I wasn’t I would’ve regretted reaver’s bed offer and the condom wouldn’t have broken and I wouldn’t be traveling to Samarkand every other month to see my daughter. I fear that reaver will find out, I knew he would’ve shot me if I told him I was pregnant. So for my daughter’s safety I fled to Samarkand to Garth and he agreed to help me raise raven and hide her existence from reaver.

The defeat of Lucien left Sparrow feeling quite useless.
Feeling useless left Sparrow dependent on even small amounts of alcohol to feel anything else.
Feeling dependent on alcohol led to a bad decision, which led to him falling in love.
Falling in love looped itself in with the feeling of uselessness, and the whole cycle started again on a new level.
