Cassian, in the midst of playing house as Gangu Gwon, realizes his deep sense of displacement because of it. Driver notices. And, well, they both have eyes.
As it was, he was stuck at the loudest table at the establishment with alarming amounts of soju bottles littered around empty plates. Yes, even to Cassian and his LAMPAS dinners which always ended with two bottles of wine that cost more than rent in NYC each—this was alarming. He looked at the flush high on Crow’s cheeks and decided to put down his glass. Somewhere between the start of their dinner and now, Driver had moved to the sofa seating across the table, and Double Blade was gone.
(Sex happens in chapter 2, so everything in chapter 1 is totally SFW if you're not into that)

"It helps you work out better," Driver says, smiling innocently. "It energizes you. That helps you work out at a faster speed. Naturally, that means faster results. Don't you want to become super strong like that? Coffee's the way to go."
Cassian looks skeptical.
Or: Driver, noticing Cassian's tiredness, tries to get him to get more sleep. When that doesn't work, he moves on to the next best thing—sugar. It's expectedly stupid.

Nobody reacts how he thought they would. Redeye picks up his bow, brandishing it like a knife. Crow smiles her creepy smile. Driver shrugs, humming with poorly-concealed interest. Cassian looks unimpressed and slightly agitated.
Uchan gapes.
Or: Someone is stalking Naeun. The police won't do anything about it. Unsure of what to do, Uchan decides to drop by the Gadam Vilzone. For advice, he tells himself.

Pieces of eggs and butter were strewn across the room, flour covered every inch of the countertops, and a fine layer of sugar coated the floor. He looks at the empty plate of crumbs, before he turns around to look back at the state of the place, then back at the plate.
He bangs his head on the counter.

Cassian would consider Redeye to be the sanest of the villain trio. Where Crow was laser focused on Driver and Driver was..... well, Driver, Redeye's only real fault was his inability to make good sandwiches.
As it turns out, that fact carries over even when the villain trio got turned into children.
Redeye isn't using screwdrivers as projectiles. Redeye isn't trying to date someone double his age. Redeye isn't trying to set shit on fire. Redeye isn't fighting in a war for Cassian's attention.
Redeye's just content to sit on the floor and drink apple juice.

Gwon Gangu's face shifted into an impressive deadpan as he nodded.

Five years ago, Gadam was not much different.
The same crowds of people running to work in the morning;
groups of students in parks, talking and laughing;
young people with hidden skills awakening in them;
big companies worrying about the safety of their high-tech equipment...And the same villains and psykers who were able to fight by their side when the situation required it.
Each of the valuable parts holding this city together were constantly there, guarding it from darkness - just like the lights, but scattered all over Seoul.
Probably the only thing that differed was that some of them didn't know each other... yet.
