Mhera leaned against her mother's chair, feeling a bit faint. "Like your name. They showed any creature who you were."
Nimbalo would not hold his tongue any longer. "Aye! It's not enough to take my matey's name, but his tattoos? His knife? For creatures who say you'll accept anybeast who means no harm, you've a strange sort of idea about acceptance!"
Tagg hastily put a paw around his friend's shoulders, pulling him back. "Nimbalo has… strong feelings about names."
