“Well, I’ll have you know I’m very good with my fingers,” Catra winks at her and flips through the next book quicker than Adora could follow. “And, you're one to talk, the only thing you were ever good at was catching basketballs with that giant forehead of yours.”
Adora grinds her teeth, to keep from sprouting some insult or another, but it seems Catra wasn't done.
“And now your just a failed author”
“I am not!” Adora's sentence starts out higher and louder than she meant it to. She glances around the room, lowers her voice and tries again. “I am not failed author I’m just taking a break”

Fuck.
That was the only thing that came to mind when the fourth punch struck Adora’s jaw. Really, things could not have gone more wrong as she bids goodbye to her favorite pair of glasses, now cracked into two somewhere on the ground. He starts to roughly lift her by the collar.
She spits out the blood forming in her mouth straight to the man’s face. “My wife gave me this shirt!”
Adora musters up all her energy to headbutt the man-oh shit that really looked less painful in movies. Fortunately, the impact was hard enough for him to release her as they both hold their heads. She tries her best to stop her surroundings from spinning. Sweat drips down the side of her face, or at least she thought, but then the metallic scent hits her nostrils. As she pulls herself to a standing position, she moves her coat, feeling the swiss knife in her back pocket as she glances at the pale skinny man holding an even skinnier kid at her right.
