He finally fixed his gaze on her eyes, and the smile he gave her, in turn, was so different from the amused smirks and exasperated grins he typically sent her way in the restaurant. It was soft and one-hundred percent relaxed, happy, but still a little nervous.
She swallowed, then laughed. “I thought it’d be even funnier if I put in a little effort on getting ready.”
Her breath caught when he tentatively reached out a hand and tucked a strand of wavy blonde hair behind her ear, a move that was so cliche it should’ve made her roll her eyes, but it didn’t. “Yeah,” he whispered. “Hilarious.”

ALSO: the party was said to be held in the "back room of a buca di beppo" i don't have that restaurant in my state but i googled it and i kept seeing a "pope room" (????) I doubt they would have an entire party in a POPE ROOM so i just decided to take some creative liberties and have terry just rent out the whole restaurant for the party. because he's bougie like that. kk. that's it. love you.
