this was honestly one of the best fics ive read in a while.
the amount of emotions i went through while reading and then to the epilogue was seriously funny 😭it wasn't just that the characters were fleshed out despite them being background characters!!!
the way seokmin despite the tendency to be very frightening with his stylings u can see how fond he is anyways, that yeah this two idiots and this other one that came along were still very precious to him. hes a constant person in sks life always being reminded how grateful he is for his life like augh friendship goals 😫
then theres jeonghan, laid back but also stressed, despite the scheming and teasing hes so soft when sk needs it but also knows how to bring him out of his shell again.
then soonyoung with his loud presence yet gentleness in the way he take care of his loved ones — the car park scene genuinely made me tear up more :((
then theres mingyu, despite not much being known abt him other than through hansols lense you can tell how significant he still with his bravery abt coming out in a horrible and disgusting industry that helped others like solboo to get the motivation to also be proud of who they are.then theres the romance its a lot to talk abt but the main thing for me is their so textbook enemies to lovers which i love because i dont see it often!!! at the start of this i actually thought it would be like that until sk started telling abt how they met (i was laughing so bad but then switched up on the last part) but then it got the part of them working together and the tension!!!?? no matter how much i read abt the characters mentioning it i really could feel it i actually embarrassed cause u have all those sexual tensions and not do anything with it like ??
but anyways their so pure and so characteristically themselves, and i love how even 10 years passed seungkwan didnt change he instead growed. it might mean the same but for me no — especially as someone who also gets panic attacks its quite jarring that i always hoped ill change abt this part of me but instead i growed and viewed it in a different light. it still happens of course but i dont let it take control of me but im quite envious of sk actually to have such a safe and warm environment around him to help him with it 😭also hansol he was such a jerk like i didnt like him at some point (sorry not sorry) but his character change in the middle of the story!!!!? it made me cried so hard.
his words and the way he phrases it with genuineness and sincerity to sk whos having such a hard time to let him see he deserves every bit of success hes experiencing and that the past doesnt define him sure he doesnt deserve to have gone through that but thats not who he is, hes not someones shadow forever and i love how much he points out how loveable sk was ☹️☹️a story i wish to read again for the first time thats for sure also cus i love long fics 😼
but anygays i love love love it so much im cherishing this forever ˶o̴̶̷᷄‸o̴̶̷̥᷅᷅᷅᷅ ˶ 🤍
